The JET 7000 is the second largest buoy in
the JET series of buoys. A hull diameter of 2.6 metres provides up to
7000kg of buoyancy making it suitable for use in offshore, deepwater and
large river locations where a highly visible navigation buoy is
required. The standard configuration is the JET 5700J which has an
integral ballast skirt and provides focal heights up to 4m. Larger focal
heights of 6m can be achieved with the JET 7000QI and JET 7000Q which
each have an integrated tail tube assembly.
Constructed around a central
galvanized steel core structure, the JET 7000/5700 buoys use common hull
floats, tower and top mark assemblies. This modular design allows for a
range of common parts that reduce maintenance, inspection, and
replacement costs. Jet 7000 buoys are available as Cardinal, Lateral,
Safe-Water, Isolated Danger or as Special Marks that can be configured
to meet various requirements in regards to navigation lights, solar
panels and battery configurations.
The complete line of JET buoys are a suitable alternatives to
traditional steel buoys.
