GDI 1.22M CAN-CON BUOY

The GDI 1.22M CAN-CON buoy is a high performance, ultra-low maintenance, cost effective floating aid to navigation. The simple yet highly effective design disperses mooring loads throughout the structure while maintaining the important traditional shape of floating aids. The rugged outer shell of the buoy is made from  10 mm thick UV-stabilized virgin polyethylene. A standard EPS (expanded polystyrene) foam filling forms a solid core ensuring that these buoys will not sink even if punctured or damaged. Built in threaded inserts allow for  attaching a wide range of top marks and solar marine lights making these buoys ideal for marking channels in ports, harbours, marinas and other waterways. The large visual target area, internal radar reflector, 316 stainless steel hardware combined with our standard three year structural guarantee have made the GDI-1.22M CAN CON buoys a logical choice for replacing traditional steel buoys.
