GDI 0.25M SPAR
BUOY
The
GDI-0.25M SPAR buoy has a deceptively simple design. It has proven
itself to be a very reliable and cost effective solution for marking marinas, private waterways,
research projects and aquaculture sites.
The buoy's outer shell
is made from 6 mm in thick UV-stabilized virgin polyethylene. The inner
foam core is solid
EPS (expanded polystyrene)
ensuring that these buoys will not sink even if punctured or
damaged. The
standard model GDI-0.25M buoy has a solid plastic mooring point designed
for rope attachment but can be custom ordered with 316 stainless steel
mooring eye for chain attachment.
Other optional configurations
include an
internal concrete ballast, internal X-band type radar reflector,
retro-reflective tape and custom lettering and or signage. Built in
threaded inserts allow for attaching a range of top marks and
solar marine lights.
These buoys are
available in Lateral, Cardinal, Isolated Danger, Safe Water and Special
Mark. |
