GDI-1.22M-CAN
The GDI-1.22M-CAN buoy is a high
performance, ultra-low maintenance, cost effective floating aid to
navigation. The simple yet highly effective design disperses mooring
loads throughout the structure while maintaining the important
traditional shape of floating aids.
The
rugged outer shell is made from 10 mm thick UV-stabilized virgin
polyethylene.
A
standard EPS
(expanded polystyrene) foam filling forms a solid core ensuring that
they will not sink even if punctured or damaged.
Available with internal 24" single or 18" double octahedral radar
reflectors and solar marine light mounts these buoys are ideal for
marking channels in ports, harbors, marinas and other waterways.
The
large visual target area,
internal radar reflector, 316
stainless steel hardware and standard five year structural guarantee
have made the GDI-1.22M CON and CAN buoys a logical choice for use in
both the US and Canadian Coast Guard's AToN modernization programs. |
